Hi Cory,

I chose BlogEngine.Net for a couple of reasons.  First and formost, I'm a .Net Developer, so if I need to change anything in the code, it's written in a language I understand.  It's also a slim codebase, so it's pretty snappy to run.  I don't think one is better than the other.  Wordpress has been around longer, so you'll have more support if you need it, but there is no lack of support with BlogEngine.Net either.
